About Jim Emerick
Jim Emerick is the founder and president of profit-with-purpose Choinqueรข (pronounced "choynk") LLC, an international network of organizations in relentless pursuit of the good and best within themselves, and even more so, in others. Often this is accomplished by aligning leaders with their organization's values and achieving breakthrough performance via an inspired and engaged workforce. He is an Academy Leadership Master Facilitator and has facilitated leadership events in person and virtually across twelve countries reaching over two thousand professionals.
A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Jim served as a technology program manager developing and integrating next-generation spacecraft computers into over fifty platforms including the Cassini-Huygens probe. In 1992, he co-founded and led innovative systems & technologies corporation, or insyte, pioneering three breakthrough generations of radio frequency systems-on-chips with diverse teams in the United States, Scotland and Canada, selling the company in 2006. Afterward, he served as Vice President Advanced Technologies at ITT, delivering their next generation communications platform technology and establishing information assurance and SCADA capabilities.
Jim is active on LinkedIn and Twitter, and hosts a podcast - the ChoinqueCast, which may be found via iTunes and other platforms. He has read and reviewed over 100 books on leadership, by authors worldwide, which may be found on the bookshelf at www.choinque.com.
Jim currently serves in executive and fundraising roles for Autism Speaks, and supports a variety of causes. He and his wonderful wife Cheryl, their two awesome children, and three cats may be found in Tampa, Florida or in the mountains of Colorado.
