October 2022 | A ‘standards-based’ approach to benefits management – what BS202002 means for you and your business by Hugo Minney

Webinar Description

Everybody does benefits management like this?  Really?  There are a number of ways to manage benefits successfully, and a lot of ways to waste time and annoy people.

This webinar will outline what has worked for the best organisations and some of the “deadly sins” of benefits management (such as ‘and then a miracle occurs’ which will be familiar to many in our audience) that should be avoided.

Dr Minney will talk about the forthcoming British standard BS202002 (which he chaired the working group and is lead author for) and give participants to download the public consultation for free, and have your say.

We’ll look at:

  • Keeping benefits management in its place: ensure that it doesn’t become a cottage industry?
  • Benefits maps and what comes next
  • Who says what is a benefit and what isn’t?  A benefit to who? Begin with the portfolio
  • The seven (or so) Deadly Sins and how to avoid their beguiling tentacles
  • Making money from benefits management
  • Where to get the standard, and how to comment on it
