Sustainability and ESG

Sustainability is about how organisations manage financial, social and environmental risks to ensure their business can continue to operate, regardless of obstacles like resource shortages, environmental disasters, and social and political events. It also relates to green practices and business continuity planning, as well as stakeholder engagement.

In short, sustainability asks “What impacts do projects have on the world?”

ESG funds are a form of sustainable investing. They consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors when deciding what to invest in. They aim to help meet long term financial goals or contributing to a more sustainable world.

ESG asks “What impacts does the world have on investments?”
