October 2021 I Thinking globally, Acting locally (Taking personal responsibility) by Alison Stuart and Erik Dalhuijsen

Webinar Description

In a free-format informal conversation under the guidace of Mark Fulton (PMI), the two founding directors of Aberdeen Climate Action, both non-activist professionals, discuss the importance of an individual's personal responsibility in everyday life, at work and outside of it. The conversation builds on the historical roots as well as recent successes and plans for Aberdeen Climate Action, and looks into some of the ingredients which PMI members can -and perhaps should- be taking along as they help guide us all on the road to a climate-considerate net-zero future.

About Erik Dalhuijsen

Image

Erik Dalhuijsen is petroleum engineer, climate change activist, sustainability engineer and an avid ocean sailor. His international career so far has ranged from technical and integrated petroleum developments, Carbon Capture and Storage, energy and sustainability analysis and implementation, to climate change awareness as co-founder of Aberdeen Climate Action.

He is driven to bring together the full width of issues which impact both full field developments and detailed studies. Integrating the relevant aspects of complex projects and approaches without losing the important (often devilish) detail is a long-term interest, both at work and elsewhere.

He holds an MSc (Ir.) in Applied Physics.
